Just seen on Facebook:

"Kate Middleton is officially in labor!  What do you think?"

As a mother who's been through it twice (once very early, leading to a hospitalized imp; and twice with a distressed baby with an umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, leading to a rushed delivery), I hope her labor is short and safe, leading to a healthy baby.  Otherwise, I couldn't give less of a shit.

    1. Same here. That's why I've got a bit of sympathy for her--especially after finding out that the kid was over eight pounds when he was born.

    1. Pretty much. I've never understood why so many focus on lives of celebrities, rather than on their own.

  3. even a experienced mother like you has to admit that birthing a golden child is probably harder than giving birth to a regular kid. Must be crowded with all the angels standing around waiting to blow trumpets and make the sky open up! Feeble attempt at sarcasm. sorry!

    2. Rat--I'm with you, there.

OCM--it had its uses in the Middle Ages, but it's kinda...obsolete.
