Oh, you idiots.

So. The receptionists at the doctor's office in the local hospital systems I use? Yeah...

They're probably going to get shit-canned, sometime soon.  No more paycheck, no more awesome health insurance for working in the hospital system, no more retirement program.  Nothing.

And they deserve every bit of it.

As does every individual who's a "living wage minimum wage" proponent.

Why am I saying this?  Glad y'all asked!

The bunch screeching that the minimum wage doesn't allow enough to live on are...either union shills* or require a tiny voice beneath their ear, reminding them to breathe in, breathe out. And close your mouth, you drooling nitwit.

Minimum wage is not, and never was, intended for people to live on.  Minimum wage was intended, from the get-go, as a racist method of preventing minorities from under-cutting what the white workers were charging for the same amount of work.  And when that passed, the white workers started demanding more, for doing the same work, and...the minorities accepted the minimum to HAVE a job.  So, in reality, the initial intent DIDN'T EVEN WORK.

As it functions now, minimum wage jobs are...trainer-jobs.  They're the ones that are part time, dumb work geared toward the lowest skill level.

The jobs paying minimum wage? Most of those are, and have always been, taken by teenagers.  Teens who still live at home, where they don't HAVE to worry about their living expenses.  And they get a raise if they stick with the job for 90 days.

These workers don't need health insurance--they're still on their parents' plans**--and they're not even starting to consider retirement.  I suppose they could be offered a college savings account.  That would actually be a semi-useful benefit for part-time minimum wage jobs; however, that's the only thing  I can think of that minimum wage starting pay jobs should consider offering.

Adults that take the minimum wage, no-skill jobs? The vast majority of them deserve that.  Or less.  They're...useless.  And they're often a drain on the employers' bottom line.  Should probably qualify as a tax break, considering the value they DON'T add, if they're minimum wage and STAY there.

Case in point: I have had friends start minimum wage, fast food jobs as adults.  Because their physical health precluded them from taking some of the heavier factory work type jobs that (frankly) pay better.  They got a raise in two weeks. Within six weeks, they were promoted to team lead.  The store was making noises about promoting them to SHIFT manager, then STORE manager within six months.  Every promotion came fast, and with a fairly hefty pay bump. They kept getting those because they showed up, on time, ready to work, for every shift they were scheduled.  Or called if there was something that was going to prevent that. Like when they got food poisoning

That is a very low bar to clear.  Show up. Sober. On time. Do the job.

Why does it seem so impossible for so many?

I've noted a lot of places like that are...no longer hiring.  Instead of paying financial drains on the company by hiring no-skilled workers that won't, they're putting in kiosks.  They're putting in robots that do the kitchen work.  The only workers they're actually hiring are IT people to maintain and troubleshoot the automation.  Maybe one or two people per shift.

So.  As we are seeing with this, the real minimum wage is...no wage at all.

Back to the doctor's office.

What does the receptionist do? She answers the phone. She sets appointments. She inputs patient information, if it's not already in the patient file.

Except...now, she doesn't. She doesn't answer the phone: there's an idiot push-button phone tree that reads off a two minute automated shpiel that urges patients to be absolutely sure they want their primary care doctor, rather than the urgent care (number provided) or the emergency department (no, I will NOT abbreviate that, TYVM.  I already have issues with the giggles calling it the "emergency department").  And when you FINALLY wait through all that crap, you get "press one to make or reschedule an appointment" or "press two to talk to the nurse" and instructions to have the PHARMACY  contact them if you need refills, rather than doing it yourself.  Then you'd make your appointment, go check in...

...but now, you're not checking in. You've already done that with the electronic stuff that was the receptionist's job.

I'm not sure if the receptionists whined about the tedium or what's going on, but they're not answering phones anymore.  They're not helping you figure out who you need to talk to.  They're not doing your check-in work.  They're...setting your appointments.  And...

...doesn't that sound like what fast food is doing? Adding automation and dumping the useless money drains?

Really, the receptionists should have been balking this automation at every turn, rather than cheering the lightening of their work load.  Because like fast food, the office managers are going to look at what they're doing, and ask "Why are we paying you and paying for your health insurance, again?"

Effectively, minimum wage is none at all.  And apparently, that "minimum" is climbing the ranks of jobs that get it.

*Union pay scale is tied to minimum wage: it's set a certain dollar amount higher automatically by position.

**Kids are on their parents' insurance well into early adulthood, now...so why offer insurance to minimum wage workers? Who are teenagers?

Get ready...

We have been completely out of debt for the past year.  The mortgage is gone, we have one credit card that we use for gas and larger expenses than the debit card will cover (and which is paid off in full every month), and we'd owed nothing else.

That brings...a lot of security.  I don't have to worry about keeping creditors off my family's back while I stretch what we have to make sure to keep a roof over my head, lights and water on, and food on the table (damn good food, too, even with a minimal grocery budget).  We are not to that point, but so many are...and the hell of it is that it's entirely because nobody taught them how to manage...well, life.

And we are in for one hell of a ride, coming up.  I'm seeing prices climbing--not in obvious ways, but because I'm paying attention.  Even when prices aren't going up, package sizes are shrinking.

I have been actively avoiding the news, because I don't need the stress when there's not a damn thing I can do to fix things.  All I can do is worry, and keep doing what I've been doing anyway.

I have some bits of advice for people who are only just now starting to wake up.

First: learn the differences between need and want.  That, for some reason, seems to be damn hard for a lot of people.  It's something I've been working on teaching my kids, and it's...not easy for them to pick up.  Then again, they're 12 and 10, and have never gone without because of their parents' stupid choices.  I'd be willing to bet that a lot of kids out there who get most of their nutrition through free school meals are going to grow up to keep a lot of food in the house...and will learn to cook.  I did, after all (and I only had one year in that situation, early on in my childhood memories).  Everybody needs a basic phone; nobody needs the latest, greatest, biggest smart-phone on the market.

If you want it, and can afford it after all needs (shelter, food, water) are met, more power to you, but it's not a need.

Not every home needs a gaming computer, the newest laptop, the biggest cable package (or even a cable package).  Not every home needs a gaming system.

Thing is...it's gotten to the point where a basic something (desktop, laptop, netbook and internet connection) is kind of necessary.  It's getting harder all the time for people who haven't learned the difference between need and want in the past to figure it out now (and harder for those of us who have).

And the hell of the matter is that it's getting harder and harder to meet basic needs, between prices going up, and availability of some things going down.

Second: break the habit of pulling that credit card out to pay for everything.  Interest rates are going to have to go up.  Government "help" is going to force the issue, no matter what Wall Street wants.  If you have any debt, look up Dave Ramsey, and start working on his program.  Hell, if you have an adjustable rate mortgage (and some do, because it looked like the wiser option at the time) refinance to a fixed rate mortgage.  Do it now, before rates start climbing in an effort to combat the coming stagflation that'll make the 1970s look tame.  If you don't own a home, don't start looking now--everybody else already is, and the prices in real estate are already jacked up from government "help."  Because they didn't learn the first time.

Third.  If you own a home, do any needed repairs that you've been putting off now.  Remember inflation?  It's already hit things like building materials.  It's one of the reasons (but only one of them) why we got the roof replaced now, rather than saving a little longer.

If you've been putting off any necessary purchase and have the cash to do them, do them now.  Otherwise, there's no telling how long you'll have to stretch things.  Just...do not go into debt over a computer for the household...or a cookstove...or anything.  Remember the interest rates.  Yeah, you may have to settle for something different from what you'd planned because the Covidiocy shut down the wrong factory at the wrong time and what you want isn't available (see: last summer's dishwasher debacle).  But now is the time do do any purchases for durable goods.

Oh.  Yeah.  And build up a stockpile of food, if you can.  Go for basics: legumes, base ingredients, etc, rather than packaged food.  God alone knows how bad it's going to get before people get pissed off enough to make it better.

OH, FFS!!!

No grounds.

The Democrats have no grounds to impeach President Trump.  The Republicans that hate his fucking guts know that.  They also know that he's a vindictive son of a bitch, and did not vote in favor when the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives decided to dive face-first into the manure pile for a mud-wrestling* session.

Abuse of power?  Obama did that.  Bush II did that.  Clinton did that.  Bush I did that.  I don't remember Regan, considering I was a pre-teen when he left office, so I can't say one way or the other.  If simple "abuse of power" was an impeachable offense, every president for the last 200 years (with very few exceptions) should have been impeached.

This opens up #10 cans of worms the Democrats really don't want opened, in ways they really don't want those cans opened.

I do not like President Trump.  I do, however, respect the fuck out of him, and I do respect the job he's taken on, trying to clean out the Aegean Stables.  He's making decent progress, too.

Hence, this stupidity.

Dear God, they know not what they have wrought.

Woah, the stupid...it burns...

To quote Han Solo, I've got a bad feeling about this

Basically, several states have decided to work on legislation to hand the state's electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote nationwide.

This is what is known as "a very bad thing."

What this does is ensure that whoever wins the East and West Coast votes wins the whole shebang, no matter who wins the vote in the states passing this.  It silences the voices of the state's voters.

That's gonna end badly for absolutely everyone involved.  Really, really badly.  As in, CW2 badly.

I don't want that.  I don't want that for my kids.  I don't want that even for the idiots who haven't the sense God gave a domesticated turkey that are pushing for this.  Because they're the ones that are going to die first, and they're going to die ugly, in ways I don't want for even child molesters.

It would be far quicker and more humane to start enforcing the laws about sedition and treason written into the Constitution, and executing those working against the direct best interest of the nation in favor of failed political ideologies that would see the Constitution scrapped.

Now, there's a brilliant plan.

So.  ISIS is calling for knife attacks.  In America.

THAT...that is a BRILLIANT idea.  Especially in the center of the country, and throughout the South.

I LOVE the idea of terrorists bringing a knife to what ends up a gun fight!

Again, it's culture. NOT race.

So.  Recently, there was a black thug that got himself ventilated by a cop because he either (at the very least) started to drive away from a traffic stop that discovered his license was suspended, or (likely, but can't tell from the video) he grabbed the cop as he started to drive away, trying to drag the cop under the car.

I say likely, because it's become a popular move with certain, inner city cultures.

There is a certain crop of social justice warriors bullies out there that are aghast that black people almost invariably* have negative interactions with the police.   Well, maybe a large segment of the black population does have negative interactions with the police; however, how much of that is the fault of their own behavior?  They act out, getting up in the cop's face, and trying to intimidate them into going away.  They curse at them, act belligerent.

How the fuck do they think police will react to a valid threat to their lives and safety?  Because that is what they are presenting themselves as.

I've seen plenty of white people do the exact same things.  And I've seen whites have the exact same reaction from the police.

The neighbors from a couple years ago living in the house across and down from us with no electricity, heat, or water...their trouble with their kids getting yanked started when the cops saw the kids (three years, and eighteen months) playing in the unfenced yard, didn't see their mother watching them from the open door while she changed a diaper, and stopped to investigate.  She got belligerent and a bit nasty with them, her husband got verbally abusive, and their kids got yanked, and he got arrested.  No, he didn't get physical, just mouthy.  And no, he wasn't flung to the ground and beat--but he had been in the past, when he did get physical.

He learned.  He learned from the consequences of his own actions, and he learned from watching what happened to others.

You'd think that a certain segment of the population would be capable of learning the same.

I am, by no means, trusting of the police.  The county cops around this area, yes, but not the city.  I've had too many belligerent officers (probably high school bullies) try to tell me and my family that we don't have the rights that I know we do.  I likely will not call the police for help with problems, and not unless it's absolutely necessary.

But.

We do not act, nor do we react, with the same stupid, saving-face behaviors that the tribal-minded inner city thugs tend to, so I am absolutely unafraid that we will be physically harmed.

*Buried amonst the other stories are ones like this, or this, that don't fit the narrative of racist cops murdering innocent black choir boys.

Bad governance

I've noticed, recently, a larger and larger percentage of people have started simply ignoring laws and doing what they were planning to do anyway.  Only a small minority of that group happens to be violent criminals.

We have huge majorities of people ignoring gun registration laws in their states--far too many to prosecute.

We have increasing minorities of legitimate, peaceful, otherwise-law-abiding gun owners noting that most mass shootings have occurred in gun free zones, and beginning to do the common sense thing for their own safety, and ignoring legal postings.  And nobody catches on, because hello, concealed carry.

We have whole states decriminalizing drugs that the federal government still consider illegal.

Hundreds of thousands of people are simply...ignoring bad law that steps on their own personal freedom.  There aren't enough prisons in the country to deal with all of them.

Same with a whole lot of EPA over-regulation of private property, like the twunt that confronted a Florida homeowner to tell him that the "barbecue smell" and smoke from his grill was not allowed to leave his property.  Or the new regulations of wood-burning heating stoves.

The federal government has forgotten a few different things that it learned during Prohibition (when most people were ignoring a major law that had been amended into the very Constitution): you can't legislate morality, and never pass a law that you know won't be obeyed.

Seriously, the only thing the government is doing is ensuring that the people no longer respect the rule of law.  And that...that's the first step in making sure the government loses the consent of the governed.

I am not wearing a damn burkah.

So.  There's a "modesty" movement out there amongst nominal Christians that don't comprehend their own faith.

I don't really mind most modesty rules.*  I really don't.  I want girls to wear more than just barely enough to cover their underwear (and sometimes, not even that).

This, though.  This is taking it too far.  To wit:

Almost every time a woman’s cleavage is left exposed before a man’s eyes, the man will mentally acknowledge that part of the woman’s anatomy, and be tempted to sin.

That is not my problem, or my responsibility.  It is not on me to help some witless wonder avoid temptation.  It's all on them

Want to know why?  Because of the way God made me, I have curves.  More of them than I really want, to tell the truth.  Clothes that fit most people do not work on me, because when I find something that fits through the shoulders and sleeves, it's tight across the chest.  Because of the way I'm made, I cannot wear nice, button-down blouses.  They simply don't work--buttons strain, and the shirt gapes between them, even when they fit. Tee-shirts that fit most just fine show cleavage on me.

If said wanna-be Christian who doesn't have enough self-control to refuse to yield to temptation, and instead expects me to help him avoid it, expects me to wear something that doesn't tempt him, I would have to wear a turtleneck that's four sizes too big, and slacks that are so big around the waist that I'd look like one of those little twits that think exposing their shorts makes them look manly instead of like a jail-faggot that's advertising that he catches.

Or I'd have to wear a fucking tent.

Yeah, no.  I'm not a feminazi, but I am also a married woman of 36 years that dresses for my age and body type, and doesn't deliberately dress provocatively when I'm not at home, but my body takes my modest clothes and makes them...less so.

I refuse to wear a tent.  Or dress in things that do not fit me.  Should I be approached about this, the individual doing the approaching will get a loud, verbal beat-down, including bible verses pointing out that it's a sad, weak-willed individual that expects to face no temptation in their lives, and that it's facing and refusing temptation that makes the Christian a Christian hero.

Maybe these so-called Christians need to either work on their own self-control issues, or move to the fucking sandbox and convert to Islam.

*The kids' school requires that shoulders and backs are covered, necklines are modest, and nothing can be shorter than an inch above the knees.  Girls are not allowed to wear button-down shirts at all.  They can wear polo shirts when they're not wearing dresses, or parents can purchase tees and sweatshirts from the school.

Fucking morons

This.  To summarize: some lesbian frustrated by the fact that the really girly feminist she wants to fuck is straight, has posited that ALL heterosexual sex is rape, because men always hold all the power, and women cannot give consent--even enthusiastic consent with even more enthusiastic participation--without being crazy, so cannot give consent to heterosexual sex, so all heterosexual sex is rape.

If women cannot give consent, then all sex is rape.  Because power in a relationship is never completely and totally equal, and that bitch would probably be a controlling, abusive top.  Ergo...she is what she is accusing all men of being

If it's supposed to work one way, it works both.

Somebody needs to turn that around on her like that, and see how she likes being called a rapist.  Maybe with a few blows to the head from the ol' clue bat thrown in.

At least she won't be breeding and passing the crazy genes on.

Suck it up, buttercup.

Okay.  It's sad that schools have to send out letters reminding graduating seniors that graduation is a formal occasion, and as such, different rules apply.

This letter was brilliantly stated:

No bellies showing, keep "the girls" covered and supported, and make sure that nothing is so small that all your bits and pieces are hanging out.

Please remember as you select an outfit for the awards assembly that we don't want to be looking at 'sausage rolls' as Mrs. Elliot calls them. As you get dressed remember that you can't put 10 pounds of mud in a five-pound sack.
Of course, somebody who would have otherwise chosen to wear something that a) didn't fit, and b) was slutwear, took offense.   And wrote letters.

The thing that gets me was the last thing in the article: "As 18-year-olds we’re all insecure and impressionable."

Really.  Really?

Oh, sweetheart, if you're still "insecure and impressionable" at eighteen, let me impress you with something.  You fail.  You fail at life.  You will fail at everything you do, because the real world doesn't fucking care about your feelings.

Let me impress something else upon you: don't vote.  Ever.  Because you, and speshul snowflakes like you, are the ones destroying my country by insisting that anything that personally offends you needs to be banned, Constitution and Bill of Rights be damned.

Last, but not least...if you don't like how someone sees you, change something.  Either change yourself (style of dress, eating habits, exercise habits), or change that people see you by hiding in your room with a massive bag of Cheetos and never come out again.

'Cause honey?  NOBODY wants to see ten pounds of mud stuffed into a five pound sack.

I love my family.

My mom and sister, after having heard how I'm doing with wheat cut out of my diet (i.e., far fewer digestive problems, fewer problems losing weight and keeping it off, fewer headaches, and less brain fog), have done the same.

It's working for them.  At least, it is right now.  I'm sure this won't last long.

Because they're convinced it's not the wheat that's the problem.  They're convinced it's the eeevil GMOs.

My God, I wish it were possible to slap sense into them.

I have explained and explained and explained to them that humans have been genetically modifying their food sources for millennia.  The original wheat?  Had four grains that dropped off as soon as it was ripe.  Same with the original strain of corn.  And now, look at the grains we have: huge, fat, heavily bearing heads/ears.  Because we genetically modified it

Modern GMOs are little different, except in scale and time: instead of taking multiple thousands of generations to fix a trait, it can be inserted into the genetics of a plant, either by irradiating a seed, or by using a virus (sometimes both).  GMOs are not dangerous.

What is dangerous is the junk science surrounding them.  What is dangerous is the overspraying of chemicals on fields of grains that have been modified to withstand the chemicals (seeps into the water tables and contaminates drinking water, which anyone would agree is incredibly bad).  What is dangerous is the pig-ignorance--the willful ignorance--cultivated by the twatwaffles that want the human race to die off and leave the bountiful earth all to herself.

Seriously.  The anti-GMO crowd is about as well-grounded in real, actual scientific understanding as the anti-vaccine crowd.

My giveadamn's busted.

Baltimore.  I just...don't care.  The people of Baltimore have chosen the course that has led to the consequences they're facing.  They voted for the shitheaps that created policy that led to the repeated incidences of police brutality that had everybody believing that the cops there severed Gray's spinal cord.

It isn't going to matter if evidence and autopsies prove that he did it to himself in the hopes of being able to sue the city.  Like with Ferguson, rioters are converging on Baltimore to destroy it, and no inconvenient fact is going to interfere with their beliefs that the cops murdered another undeserving black man.

I cannot bring myself to feel for the "victims" of the rioting.  They chose this, through their voting patterns, and through remaining in the situation.  The only ones I feel sorry for is those who are trying to keep family-owned businesses that have been in the same place for generations, businesses who literally could not survive without their long-built-up customer bases...and I question how many of those there actually are.

I do not feel sorry for the rioters--they aren't there for Gray, or for any honest protests about police brutality.*  So fucking what if their bail is "unfair" (according to lawyers)?  They earned the price the judges set on their heads, every penny.

I do not feel sorry for the scumbag's family.  If they'd really cared for the young man, they'd have stepped in a long time ago and taught him real, civilized values, instead of turning him into a stupid sociopath predator.

I do not feel sorry for the scumbag.  Especially since evidence has come out showing he'd done it to himself.

I do not feel sorry for the police force.  From what I've read, they've been predators on the law abiding almost as bad as Gray was.

I do feel sorry for the good ones amongst the bad, but that's limited by the fact that they have not stepped up to boot the scumbags out of uniform and out of the force.  They are as much at fault for the current situation as the bad cops.  Remember what they say about what allows evil to flourish.

Seriously.  At this point, after all of this, my ability to care, which is sorely limited by my own borderline sociopathic tendencies to not care about other people, has been completely worn out.

Lord, grant me patience...

From a phone conversation:

Me: Hi, Mom.  Whatcha doin'?

Mom: I was just about to climb the ladder again, and trim the tree that beat my antenna to pieces.

Me:...You have someone holding the ladder, right?

Mom:  Your sister is upstairs in her bedroom.  She's mad at me* for some reason, and took off last night.  Haven't seen her since.

Me: What about your sisters?

Mom: They're gone.

Me: Then please get my sister down to come hold the ladder.

Mom: I can't.  She's mad at me.

Me: Then please wait until one of my aunts gets home to hold the ladder.

Mom: I'm not stupid, daughter.  I have it braced.  It's not going to fall.

Me: I would not call trusting a braced ladder with nobody there to help anything but stupid.

Mom: Well, what do you expect me to do?  It needs done, and nobody else is around to do it for me!  And I don't like climbing ladders.  If it wasn't braced, I wouldn't be climbing it.

Me: Fine.  Break your fool neck.

This woman has an unruptured aneurism in her brain, behind her left eye.  The neurologist has told her not to strain herself, and not to fall.  She also has arthritic bone spurs in both hips.  Bad balance due to inner ear issues.  Weakness in her hands and shoulders.

I'd rather she didn't climb anything--even a step stool--but short of being institutionalized and tied to a fucking hospital bed, nobody's going to be able to keep her from doing stupid things.

And it's going to be her killed, yes, but it's going to hurt my kids knowing that their grandmother was killed because she did something so far beyond stupid that it's not even visible from there.

*My sister is mad because my mom brought home a dog that has a tendency to go insane, and is at least part Pitt Bull. /And Mom won't hear a word against the stupid thing.

These are the reasons my family will always be hard-up.

My aunt--the only one who works--recently retired from a decently good job.  She retired because she hated it, because she "could," and because she has no ability to predict the consequences of her actions.

She has a 401(k) with a few thousand in it.  Only a few thousand.  She's using that money to pay off her debts.  She plans to live on Social Security.  She has no idea what she's gotten herself in for.

I tried telling her that she wasn't in any kind of shape not to retire, but what do I know?  She was, after all, one of the ones that changed my diapers and taught me to read.  Therefore, she knows more than me, and will always know better than me.

She's going to lose the family place within five years, and thank goodness.  That place has been nothing but a curse for as long as I can remember.

My mother has about four dozen vinyl records, and no working record player.  She wants me to take her records to the university library, and turn the music on them into MP3s.  I came up with an idea with my sister, that we would buy a USB turntable for Mom for Mother's Day, and help her put everything on her computer as MP3s, burn CDs, and maybe do the same for the rest of the family.

She decided she wants to get her hair done, instead.

I did say something--I don't waste much money on things that will only last a month or two*--but she shrugged, and said, "A perm will last me for almost a year."

Yes, but...the turntable will last longer, and be a hell of a lot more useful.

And she still wants the perm.

I am fucking tired of trying to reason with my family.  And I will not ever be giving any more than a $5-15 Walmart gift card for a gift again.  No going in with my sister to pay for something useful and nice, since the money will just be wasted for stupid shit that isn't worth it.

I certainly will not be enabling this kind of stupid behavior from my family again.

*I haven't been to get a haircut in three years.  Getting dead ends taken off isn't worth $15.  I have never gotten my hair dyed professionally--spending $8 and doing it myself is more sensible.  My kids have never and will never get to have a birthday party for all of their friends at a laser tag park or at Chucky Cheeze--it's a waste of money.

So.

We had another spree shooting happen yesterday.  Ft. Hood.  Again.

This time, however, it wasn't terrorism related.  No, this was related to most of the other non-ideologically motivated spree shootings that have happened over the last several years: SSRI drugs and other psychoactives were involved.

The docs need to stop prescribing those meds outside of a residential level of psychiatric care...or outside of a prison.  These drugs are nasty-dangerous, and massively overprescribed for normal people who are going through a rough patch.  They're dangerously addictive, as well as having a tendency to cause the patient to try to kill themselves...or go get a gun and kill a lot of other people.

And, of course, the usual twatwaffles are opening their pie-holes and advocating control of the gun, and not the drugs that are actually what cause the issue.

I am so far beyond disgusted with the American Psychiatric Association, the pharmaceutical companies pushing these dangerous groups of drugs, and the media that I want to spit.

Oh...lovely.

And people wonder why I don't want to live anywhere near a permanent military facility.  You get fuckers like Hassan at Fort Hood, and this son of a goat-fellating whore, who enlisted for the sole purpose of copying Hassan's actions, running around.

I'm two hours south of this.  And there's very little info on where the hunt is taking place.

I am so very glad that the little camel-cock riding sand-nigger wanna-be was dumb enough to talk about his plans before he had the chance to carry them out, and even more glad that he didn't have the sense to make sure his audience wouldn't report him.

I hope he gets sent to Ft. Leavenworth for this attempt.  I really doubt that even the dregs stored there will be particularly happy about his plans, and will likely beat the holy living fuck out of him, before shoving a whole, bone-in ham up his ass.

Stunning

There are several computers marked with a reserved sign in the library computer lab, today.  Apparently, they're holding a workshop to help foreign exchange students who work on campus with their income taxes.  I've seen a dozen students walk through the computer lab, looking at each of the empty computers hopefully, only to sigh in resignation at the reserved signs over each one and wander off.

What they say is Reserved in big red letters at the top, followed by International student tax workshop in green, then Thursday March 27 in yellow.  And this is as far as anyone goes.

If they read the whole thing, they'd have noticed the double-sized font beneath the date that reads 5PM-8PM.  I have not yet seen anyone that noticed.  All of the reserved computers are still empty.

Such stunningly developed skills of observation these twits have!  I'd bet most of 'em have homework, too.

Seriously?

I mean, sometimes smart people miss sarcasm.  The TSA--in any country--is not made up of smart people.  I do not understand how this guy could imagine telling the bright bulbs that make up the TSA that he had a bomb up his ass could result in anything other than what he obviously got.  I really don't understand where he found the chutzpah to say that "he never anticipated the consequences of his remarks...and by consequences, he meant such an extensive cavity search."

I understand his frustration.  I really do.  However.

Stupid should hurt...and this time, it did.

Oh, noes!

Someone was spotted walking onto campus in a dark gray fleece jacket, and dark gray sweats, with a fedora.  I guess he (I assume) was carrying an umbrella on a dry day, because somebody lost rectal continence, and called the campus rent-a-cops to report a "suspicious" person between two of the residence hall apartment buildings (prime pathway for somebody who lives in one of the apartments just off campus to take in heading to class).

Or maybe the cranially incontinent witness simply thought that the individual might be armed because they were wearing a fedora.  Indiana Jones, y'know.

Hopefully, the individual in question was the first one inconvenienced when they locked down the dorms.
