I am glad to see that we're not so hardened as a society that something like a nearly-dead baby in a garbage bag still has a powerful effect on people.

A story like that (someone throwing away a baby) makes me doubly sick right now; I'm working with a student who just lost a pregnancy. (She has to go in for further workups and testing on the day when we were to have the final, so I'm going to have her take it early.)
ReplyDeleteBetter that than a junkie killing the baby through neglect. At least the baby got the necessary treatment to survive, and will be placed in a home with better parents.
