I have the first three seasons on DVD. They're a favorite with my kids. My daughter, in particular, loves the Alice Cooper episode; my son loves the Raquel Welch one, and has since he first saw it.
Makes sense. Muppets and ABC are both owned by Disney. I won't trust it to be family friendly, now that Jim Henson's gone, and most of the twits in charge have no idea what is and is not suitable for kids.

That was awesome. I miss the muppets.

DeleteYou're right there about possibly before being all kinds of inappropriate. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.
DeleteOh, make no mistake: many of the jokes on the original Muppet Show were inappropriate; they were, however, subtle enough to go right over kids' heads.
DeleteI watched the Muppets as a kid. I was shocked at some of the stuff I missed when I watched it with my kids.
