Oh, honey, just...don't.

As I was leaving campus today, I saw a cheerful looking, chubby girl wearing a hooded scarf.  However, the scarf's hood looked...off.  For that matter, so did the ends of the scarf.

Then I realized what I was seeing: the hood?  had ears.  The ends of the scarf were paw-shaped pockets.  The whole ensemble resembled a bear.

My only thought was, "Oh, honey.  Please don't let your inner furry come out to play in public."

  1. I've seen those. If they make one of a frog maybe I'll get one for myself. ;-)

    1. I've seen Kermit the Frog hats--fleecy, two-layered ones--with ear flaps at our local Wal-Mart.

  2. I looked on line, and I found a skunk hat that I liked. But all the pictures of these things only have women wearing them, so I guess I'll have to pass.

  3. This is a thing. I've seen lots of them (foxes, owls, raccoons) on my campus. I admit, I think they're kind of cute. But I also think I'm waaaaaay too old to be wearing one.
