Gonna have to get the imp a clock for his room.

And I'm going to have to teach him when is an acceptable time to get up...and which isn't.  Because he keeps trying to get up between six and six thirty, and seven is the earliest I'll permit.

    Try getting a clock radio, set it to something quiet like classical music, and have an alarm at 7. Tell him he's not allowed up until the music starts playing. Worked for my oldest when he was little.

      We considered it. The problem is, my imp likes music, and will push buttons until he gets music...which results in the clock getting reset. We've got a clock for him--a digital one--and have told him he can't get up if the first number isn't 7.
