Minister Malik Shabazz has said that instead of permitting an emergency takeover to resolve the city's financial issues*, he'd rather burn the city down.
Please, please, please do. Save us the trouble of bailing your entitlement-minded ass out of the pit you dug it into.
However, I really wish he'd stop trying to turn it into a race issue. I am absolutely certain that there are leftist-run majority white cities that are in the same kind of financial trouble. Black people do not have the stupidity market cornered, nor do they have the debt market cornered.

If they burn down the city, They will all move elsewhere maybe near you or me. No thank you they can stay there. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood point...
ReplyDeleteI'd be willing to guess there are a number of California cities that would fit the criteria you listed...
ReplyDeleteI suspect LOTS of things this coming summer into fall are going to be turned into race issues, even when they aren't.
I agree, and I'd bet they're leading up to trying to make the election in November a race issue.
ReplyDeleteRACISM lives in the privacy of the voting booth......
DeleteOCM, you're sadly right. Otherwise, the establishment wouldn't have worked so hard to kick Cain out of the race--you can't have two black men running after all. Then it would focus all of the attention on Obama's ideas, mistakes, and policies that none of us want or like. And the Left is pretty certain that Obama will get re-elected on the strength of his race, just like he got elected the first time.

ReplyDeleteI say surround the city with the military, put them on notice that it won't be rebuilt... PERIOD. Encourage them to burn it down, and then shoot these assholes as they try to escape.
ReplyDeleteExcellent suggestion, Matt--one problem: those are Democrat voters, in a year where they need every vote they can get.
