About time these dimwits got slapped down for infringing on private property rights.

Average citizen 1, EPA 0

It's about time these sanctimonious rectally-invasive trespassing bureaucrats got slapped down for telling people they couldn't build on their own property.

If the EPA wants to block a build, they need to be required to purchase the property at twice market value.  They should not be allowed to issue enforceable injunctions against building on private property.

  1. If it doesn't meet building codes, you can not build it.

Pretty simple........it protects me-you from having a cardboard shack built next door.

    1. It had nothing to do with building codes--the EPA made a clerical error, and declared the property they wanted to build on part of a protected wetlands, when it was in the center of a developed subdivision. When their mistake was pointed out, they didn't bother to correct it, just persisted in telling the couple that if they started building their dream house, they'd be subject to unfairly high fines.

Read the story, next time, dude. That info was in the news story linked.
