Too...many...remarks! Can't pick one!

I know it's not really funny, but one of the first things I thought when I saw this headline was, "Did somebody drop a nuke on one of Al Gore's global warming summits?"

  1. I suspect WE will can look forward to a lot of environmental
    surprises!

The one that scares me bit is the gulf spill.

They can see the shrimp, herring, etc. but the critters at the very bottom of the food chain are not really visible and if they GO so goes the rest!

WE have to worry about pissing off Mother Nature--she can play hell with us!

  2. Mother nature is also really good at cleaning herself up--where humans didn't try to clean up after the Mount St. Helens eruption were more healed ten years afterward than the places we tried to help.

And humans are really good at adapting to changes in the environment. Better than most creatures, and most creatures are pretty darn good at adapting.
