Happy Independence Day.

We went to one of the tea party rallies, and (despite the rain) there was standing room only in and around the park pavilion. I'd guestimate that there were around 250-300 people there for the start, and more arriving as we were leaving with a sleepy, hungry baby. A lot of people are not only mad, but they're banding together to try to fix things.

It gives me a small measure of hope.
