The special hell awaits...

I much prefer it when douchenozzles choose early mornings to mow their lawns, rather than the EXACT FUCKING TIME I'm trying to get my kids to go the fuck to sleep.  Especially when the douchenozzles in question are mowing the yard right the fuck outside my kids' bedroom windows.

Who the fuck starts mowing their yard at eight in the fucking evening, anyway?

  1. It's much cooler at 8 in the evening, but technique goes out the window when it gets dark...and you're not finished mowing.

    1. 'Round here, it's cooler at 8 a.m. than 8 p.m., and the guy next door has teenagers living in the house. Not currently in school. Nor yet working, that I can see (as in: they're always home, and always playing crap I don't want my two year old and four year old to listen to way too loud).

Too bad the poor babies are still sleeping.

  2. I'd guess, people who work and think they don't have time otherwise. I get lots of people here around me who mow at 8 pm. Or who use their leaf blowers at 2 pm on a Sunday, which bugs me even as I realize it's somewhat unreasonable to be bugged by it.

I work, too. But I try to find a time to mow and edge (actually, the edger is the problem, as I have a reel lawnmower that is super quiet) when people are not going to be trying to sleep. EVEN if that means coming home some day over my lunch break and doing it.

I also have great hatred for the a-holes who chose the a-hole option on their truck that enables them to drive through and sometimes even PARK IN a residential area at 2 am with their damn boom car going. I don't like your effing music even when I'm NOT trying to sleep!

    1. I wouldn't have had a problem with him mowing if I wasn't trying to get the kids to bed. Just after I wrote the post, I had to go in and get the pixie out of her window. She was bouncing on the end of her bed, behind her curtains, waving at the neighbor and squealing "Hi! Hi!"
