The midterms were yesterday. There's a lot of people scratching their heads, today, wondering what happened. See, they expected to see a solid Republican majority take over both the house and the senate. And it hasn't happened.
I never expected it. Because I expected what happened. It was signaled out loud for months, damn it. The opposition--the Democrats--started months ago bleating about abortion, bleating about this, that, and the other. Issues that they hold near and dear. Things voters don't care about, especially not in comparison to the ability to put food on the fucking table for their children.
I do not believe that the Democrats won. I do not believe that they can. Not with the majority of America as angry as they are, and about the things they're angry about.*
I do not believe Fetterman took the seat over whats-his-face, the quack holisitic medicine twat that turned on the President who campaigned for him.
I do not believe they took any district that was not a 100% inner city vote, and that would have been close, because people are that angry.
And this is Bitch McConnell's fault. And Lindsey Graham(nesty). And the fault of every lizard that's been there, squatting in DC with a camouflage R, for my lifetime. You surrendered to the fucking enemy. You're quislings.
Oh I know they're going to be gaslighting us as hard as they can. "It was a fair election." "You're just sore losers." "We won, so the people want what we're going to give them good and hard."
No.
I do not believe you. I don't believe the media. I don't believe the results.
Tell you what. If you want my buy in, redo the whole election. Tomorrow. Paper ballots only, in person voting only, with a drivers' license or state ID required to vote. And do not give me that bullshit about disenfranchising minorities--every last one of them has an ID. Because they have to to have a bank account, to buy their smokes, their liquor. They have the fucking ID.
Even with California's fucking retarded "yes, undocumented immigrants can get a drivers' license." I'll accept that. Because I'm pretty sure that even the illegals don't want what Democrats are pushing.
IF, and only if, the results match what they're waving around, will I believe they won.
Until then, I just...don't.
Ladies and gentlemen, we no longer have a legitimate federal government. We have a criminal cabals of liars, killers, rapists, and thieves attempting to rule over us.
I cannot tell you what to do about it. I don't even know what to do.
But this won't last forever. I believe that. I know that. Because it can't. This is the land of the odds, of the unruly who do not go along. We are not Europe, and this is not a democracy. This is a representative republic, where we, the people, now lack representation. Because our voices have been stolen. Or silenced.
I can't predict what's going to happen. I can only grit my teeth and hang on, can only pray, can only try to get my children safely into adulthood.
The only things I can predict? Things are going to get a lot harder. And then it's going to get truly ugly.
Edit: Welcome, Instapundit readers! Glad to have you drop by.
*Americans are angry about inflation. They're angry about their paychecks not going as far as they were. They're angry about energy prices going up because green shit doesn't produce, and they're angry about being cold over the winter. They are not angry about abortion being made illegal altogether in some states, and restricted in others--the average American doesn't want to kill babies, and is quietly grateful that they don't have to come out in the open and make that stand. They are not angry about police brutality--they're angry that they're not safe from criminal brutality, and the left just made it worse in my state by legalizing pot for funsies and allowing people with "pot convictions" to get their convictions overturned. No, Americans aren't angry about what the Democrats care about. Well, no, they are, but not in the way the Democrats want them to be--they're angry that this is being forced on them.
I wholeheartedly concur.
ReplyDeleteI hope seeing someone else saying it out loud has helped your state of mind.
DeleteYes, and thank you for expressing it so... kinetically. A lot of us feel the same way out here, but it's been frustrating that we can't even say it to friends/family who feel that Things are Fine. It's maddening and disheartening.
DeleteBest description of what's going on that I've read anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly.
DeleteWelcome.
DeleteElection day voting serves the invaluable purpose as a gate keeper for the truly interested, truly engaged, truly concerned American voter. Low percentage turnout is not a failure of the system but a great strength of American democracy. Or it used to be anyway. Now with early voting, same day registration, mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, etc every mal-informed, lazy assed, ignoramus in the country gets to have their "voices heard" even though they know nothing of what they speak.
ReplyDeleteOnly a return to election day voting can save this country but -thanks in large part to our flaccid Republican leadership over the last 30 years - that ship has sailed and will never be coming back.
I've been paying attention for about twenty. They all suck.
DeleteThe problem isn't just that I don't believe, it's that there's nothing that will fix it short of the kind of bloodshed that will end up destroying the nation anyway. Is it better to rearrange the deck chairs as the ship goes down? 'Cause we're not VOTING our way out of this.
ReplyDeleteFlorida repaired their elections. Showed that it *can* be done. We need to repair those first. The rest? Yeah. We'll still have to fight for the rest, but repairing the elections would give us a trench to fight from.
DeleteFlorida repaired their elections- and just notice how big the win for Red was. Desantis won by 20%! Where else is this happening?? If every state had 'repaired their elections', imagine the Red Tsunami that we would have had.
DeleteIowa did, too. And had the same result as Florida.
DeleteNo votes should be counted until the polls are closed. No reason to tell them how much Cheat to dial in. The whole Reason for electronic voting was to make counting Fast. If they start telling us it's Gonna be a while, it's so they can cheat. Funny how they lost just enough to allow the Red ripple to be seen, but won just enough to Not change the imbalance of power. What would we expect? They so obviously stole it from Trump. And nothing happened. After that screwing I was suddenly able to understand how such absolute losers as Maxine Waters, Shiella Jakksun Lee, John McCain, etc, were able to stay in office.
ReplyDeleteI know, McCain was allegedly a Republican, but cheating is not about any Party, it's about maintaining Status Quo, and for decades we've seen the balance of power went back and forth between R and D and not see any appreciable change in direction of the country? Trump swung the wheel and redirected the nation to Everyones benefit, and was openly opposed by every Democrat and a buncha so called Republicans. The criminals Do Not want the swamp drained. They are getting rich...
You nailed it.
DeleteAmen! All those who are blaming Trump have done nothing to stop the voter fraud. They have done nothing to help build the wall on the border. They have done nothing except point the finger at others when we lose.
ReplyDeleteWe want to do something- but what? I am mad enough to jump in and work to change this. Where do I start?
ReplyDeleteI truly don't know. Local elections? Half the time, the people running for county-level positions aren't opposed. Hell, it's actually MOST of the time running unopposed, around my neck of the woods...and that's from primary season on!
DeleteI agree that GOPe squandered this election. In my state I saw DNC candidates lying endlessly (e.g. national abortion ban). The GOP didn’t counter. The GOP made pitiful attempts to link congresscritters to Pelosi, but nothing about how support for Pelosi was bad. And I saw very little about pocketbook issues, the country’s future, or any groundgame.
ReplyDeleteThe GOP failed to tell angry voters that they were going to help.
GOP is made up of equal parts squishes and quislings; don't expect anything from them.
DeleteSince your screen name is Anonymous, I have made some assumptions about you. I believe you have at least one job or are in retirement. You have a firm faith in the power of truth. You try to be a good neighbor. You avoid conflict if possible. I believe you to be a conservative.
DeleteHow many potential voters did you talk to about your concerns? How many people's opinions did you try to change, with reason?
Nope. I believe the younger generations are for full on nanny state. They love them some big government. Global warming, don’t you know? Democrat socialism is the only way to save the planet. They keep screaming at you that they don’t even believe in freedom of speech. Believe them. The older single women, younger women in general, they believe in abortion. They have a right to kill that kid all the way up to and sometimes weeks past birth. Democrat socialism is the only way to keep that fundamental right. I believe there was some cheating, but face the facts, America of individual liberty, America the Constitutional Republic, has been voted out off office. It’s gone. We are the minority.
ReplyDeleteThat's entirely the fault of their parents for not paying attention to the brainwashing the kids were subjected to from preschool (or earlier) on.
DeleteA lot of kids are starting to rebel against what they were taught, even (because that's what young people do). And a lot of parents are realizing what a bill of goods they were sold (and what's being spoon-fed to their own kids) and going "nope--not my kid" and either homeschooling (numbers have more than doubled as parents overheard what their kids are being taught during the covidiocy) or (like me) making the huge financial sacrifice to put their kids in a private school that doesn't do that.
"entirely the fault of their parents?," Who teaches the Teachers? Do you happen to have a mirror handy? Additionally, taxes are spent on operation and upkeep. There needs to be an overhaul of the management of the way school board operation.
DeleteUm. I know EXACTLY who teaches the teachers. I used to teach college composition, and I watched, unable to do anything, as an institution that used to be student- and instruction-centered veered HARD to propaganda and brainwashing. Toward virtue signalling and cancellation of any dissenting voices (of which I was one).
DeleteHigher education--college--was lost by the end of the sixties. I have said it before: those who can, do. Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach the teachers. And those who can't do that? Train the professors that teach the teachers. Or write incoherent criticism of things that actually work. Or both.
And most of those are hard line, unthinking Communists. True believers who can't think and can't function, but they've been told they're smart, so they think the credential (PhD) means they are the intelligent elite when the opposite is the truth.
Regan done fucked up when he increased the DOE's power. He *thought* it was a harmless compromise to make so that he could hamstring the USSR and bring it down. The reason the hard commie left accepted the loss is because they *knew better.*
It IS entirely the fault of the parents. Because parents SHOULD have been up the asses of the schools, and of the school boards. All the time. Watching what was taught and how. They should NOT have trusted that things stayed the same as they were when they were kids.
But because they DIDN'T, they abrogated their duty of care, the requirement of the title of "parent" to raise thinking adults. They fucking *failed.* So YES, it is entirely the fault of the parents. THEY DIDN'T GUARD THEIR CHILDREN.
And yes, I do lump my mom in with that. I am trying to do better by my children. I watch their teachers, and I pay VERY close attention to their curricula.
But I am part of a VERY small, if growing, minority.
There was an enormous amount of cheating, and some increased input from the Zoomers, who are just now aging into voters - with a plus 26 lean toward Democrats. But by far the biggest factor was fraud. Oh, and BTW, Republicans won the national popular vote by about 5 million votes in the House races. Think the left will be yelling about how "undemocratic" it is that the GOP lost all over the place?
DeleteHamm is right, and so are you. Florida fixed their elections after 2000, all votes in, counted and posted by 11pm across TWO timezones.
ReplyDeleteThe "Red Wave" was a media-concocted crock of crap. How can ANYONE believe that such a thing will be allowed to happen when the doors are wide open to voter fraud? Look at CA's Newsom. I LIVE out here and TO THIS DAY cannot find ONE PERSON who voted for that guy! And yet, there he is. He was voted in, "survived" a recall, and then was re-elected by the most overtaxed, overregulated, financially drained citizens in the country! My guess is that if he wasn't Pelosi's nephew, things would have turned out differently. And speaking of Pelosi; am I the only one who's notice HOW QUICKLY her husband's queer-cuddle-gone-wrong got memory holed?
ReplyDeleteI...really think there *was* a tsunami. Or should have been.
DeleteI expect this to stay at "simmer" - with some corrective nibbling around the edges - until 2024. Ian Fleming penned in Goldfinger "The 1st time is happenstance; 2nd time is coincidence; 3rd time is enemy action." Those among us paying attention already know it's enemy action, on both sides of the aisle because just about all we have is enemies, but by #3 it will be undeniable.
ReplyDeleteI figure we have about 20 months to prepare because It. Will. Get. Serious. Unfortunately, those 20 months will be Quite Difficult, but we can perservere. There is no other choice.
I really don't want to see how ugly it's going to get. I really don't.
DeleteThis is not what I want for my country.
You left out sticking your finger in purple ink when you vote. If it worked in Iraq it will work here.
ReplyDeleteCan we add making it a felony on par with grand theft to attempt to vote with your finger already dyed purple?
DeleteThe Dems have been cheating in one form or another since Boss Tweed a centy and a half ago. The late Mayor Daley of Chicago openly bragged about Dems cheating.....so did LBJ. They stole the White House in 2020 and got away with it. So of COURSE they doubled down and massively expanded the cheating this time. Just wait till 2024....it will make this year's fraud pale in comparison. TINVOWOOT. There will NEVER be another honest election in America again....EVER. At least not till we have Civil War 2.0 and eliminate all the criminal leftists. But as long as we have bread and circuses.....beer and sportsball don't hold you breath waiting for any meaningful change.
ReplyDeleteResults would have been different--very, very different--had "vote by mail" been eradicated by the states.
DeleteAnd Voter ID with purple died fingers mandated.
DeleteNever better said. The Demonrats are continuous cheats and always have been.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all a MANDATORY FREE VOTER ID with a MATCHING ID number that will also be placed on the ballot, This voter ID is VALID for 4 years including one presidential election ONLY. After the presidential election the ID becomes INVALID and the voter roles are destroyed. The voter MUST register to vote after EVERY presidential election they will be issued a new voter ID with a NEW Voter ID number. Paper ballots only hand counted with poll watchers of BOTH parties present. If poll watchers are removed for ANY REASON the counting STOPS until both poll watchers are present. Voters can vote up to 30 days before election day. ALL ballots must be received by the elections office by 8:00 PM local time. The voter has 30 days to voter there is NO NEED to extend the election past the election day. If for some reason the election is extended past election day NO VOTES will be counted until that deadline is past.
ReplyDeleteI agree...to a point; however. A few caveats.
DeleteIf you remove the secrecy from who voted for whom, you will see a massive wave of people getting punished for voting the "wrong" way. It's bad enough already with the whole "cancelling" thing. It would get *worse.*
NO early voting EXCEPT for if there's a valid reason you CANNOT vote on election day. I do not want to make voting too easy for those who don't care. If you're concerned about lines making people unable to by the time voting ends for the day, because they work, or because lines are too long...maybe there should be more voting precincts to serve smaller districts with fewer people.
