99%? Not so much.

I don't recall hearing any "complete shutdown" of any city hosting a May Day Occupidiot protest.  I've heard of violence, and of vandalism, but not of any "complete shutdown" of commerce.

99%?  More like less than 1%.  An easily discouraged by rainy weather less than one percent.

  1. Its funny that they wait until May to start protesting. They don't like the cold weather.

    1. They refuse to do anything they don't like...like punch a clock for a paycheck they feel they've earned by breathing.

  2. The thing is, the "real" 99% were going to work, caring for their families, volunteering at food banks, picking up trash in their neighborhoods...boring stuff like that.

I get SO fed up with the "Occupy" crowd. I really hope my tax dollars aren't going to support them, but they probably are.

I heard some guy giving a soundbite about how he was occupying because he "wanted to make the world a more beautiful place." I almost had an aneurysm.

    1. I will not post on my blog anything about these assholes!!

Maybe if the media would also ignore them, they'd go away!

    2. Ricki--you're right about that. I nearly laughed myself sick about making the world a more beautiful place--my first reaction was "Well, then: take yourself out of it."

OCM--I think you have a point. Like children throwing tantrums, the occupidiots are doing it for the attention. I'd avoid posting about them, but they're so easy to mock.
