They're all fucking nuts. If they get a loaded gun in their hands, they're going to go on a shooting spree. And they think that every other person in the country is just like them.

We already don't let crazy people buy guns. How about we pass a law that keeps crazy people from being put in a position where they can make/interpret/enforce the laws?
For Lanza in particular, if he were bald headed and had large slanted black eyes, he would looked exactly like the classic outer space alien

DeleteI know what it feels like to lose a child. I hope you never find out. Eventually we have to send our children out into the world without us there to protect them. This problem requires real solutions. Ridiculing our government officials does not contribute to a solution.
ReplyDeleteI agree that something needs to be done; however, I think those who want to remove guns from the hands of the law-abiding are going about it in the wrong way. I also think that those like Nancy Pelosi really need help rather than handed the reigns of power (and honestly believe that anyone who seeks power should be forever denied it).

Of course, we all know from history that confiscation follows registration. Well... maybe MR doesn't know this....
MR said, "No one wants to ban guns!" ..... yeah ok... if you say so...
Then I looked at his blog. I guess that's why his post on March 27 was titled "From my cold dead hands", and the last sentence on that post was, "But if you try and take away my guns then I got one thing to say to you. "From my cold dead hands!"
Doesn't sound like someone who believes that "No one wants to ban guns!".
