Were this claim anything other than the tortured fantasies running through your foul, fevered, feeble brain, you'd already be nothing more than a trophy on someone's wall. Same with your co-twats of Pelosi, Fonda, and Mrs. Brady.
I think she's projecting. She's clearly ready for a rubber room herself. I can easily imagine her at a Wal-Mart somewhere shooting an AK-15 randomly saying, "See, I TOLD YOU!!!!!!!"
Yep. There needs to be a batshit-crazy test every year for congresscritters. Don't pass? Can't stay a congresscritter. Have to be fired because you don't pass? No continuing benefits. Retire gracefully, and you can keep your bennies.
Hell, better idea: retire gracefully after two terms, keep your bennies. Keep fighting to stay in power? You get nothin' when the people finally fire you.
Only a little--I haven't read much about it. WWII history isn't my favorite era. I am familiar with the causes, with the atrocities, and with the effects on world politics, but I certainly didn't do in-depth research into it.
Now, ask me about English history before 1066, and I can tell you a bit more...
Lotta good stuff from those trials. We gave 'em a good trial, then we hung 'em. They were all televised in the 50's when TV was only black and white and I saw most all of it. Current crop of misfits have forgotten that "I'm just following orders." got you a trip to the gallows. Treason no question! Senator Turn 'em All In definitely qualifies!
I may not live to see it, but I have strong suspicions such trials will come around once again. Got to admit one thing that helps keep me strong and reasonably brain intact is I am just OHHHH so curious to see what comes next.
The whole "just following orders" failing as a legal defense I was aware of...however, what can we do to discourage those giving the orders? I'm pretty sure hanging, then drawing and quartering is deemed cruel and unusual punishment by our own Constitution (though, to be fair, it was meant to be--it was only used in cases of treason).
Then again, they seem to think none of the rest of the laws apply to them...
Sorry, folks. A hundred plus spam comments in an hour equals moderation on older posts, so until further notice...you're gonna have to wait for your comments to be approved before they show up.
