Brilliant

#4 on this countdown list of "5 Ways Parents Can Transform Their Wild Boys into Mature Men" is simply brilliant.  I'm gonna have to snitch that for training my son.

  1. When I was a teenager, I was involved in DeMolay, a Masonic youth group(this was before I knew they were anti-Catholic) They were based on the Knights Templar, and the Last Grand Knight, Jaques Demolay. It helped me develop a code of honor that I try to live to this day. I kept the good, and rejected the bad.

    1. This may just be a perspective of a protestant Past-Master Freemason, but there isn't anything anti-Catholic in Freemasonry. I can certainly say that there is nothing forbidding a Catholic from joining in lodge rules, I was under an impression that it was against Catholic Church teaching for a practicing Catholic to take a Masonic obligation.

I would presume some of the split comes from Freemasonry's Templar roots. Remember the Templars were killed during one of the less independent periods of Vatican history, I would argue more due to Philip of France's greed than anything else.
