The Taliban, now based in Pakistan, have demanded that all girls' schools in the area they control be closed, and that no girls are educated. If the people in the area refuse, or simply don't move fast enough, the schools will be blown up. Likely with the girls and teachers still inside.
Such kind, tolerant, gentle, religous men, they are.
