Do as I say, not as I do.

Condoleeza Rice is telling Europe to stand firm and make sure the Soviet Union--sorry, Russia--faces consequences for what it's done to Georgia. At the same time, the United States is softening on its own position on making Russia face consequences.

This illustrates two things: first, the United States' foreign policy has become ever more hypocritical.

Second, that our foreign relations needs a shot of Viagra to keep from going limp when it needs to stay firm.
