Well, it's not like they're not already trashed, by this point.

The government is planning to sell the FEMA trailers occupied by Katrina "victims" since the actual hurricane 4 1/2 years ago to the people they can't get out of them for $1-5.

I really don't have much objection to this plan. I mean, first of all, it would be a complete public relations nightmare for the new administration (kind of like closing charter schools in DC). Second, what are they going to do, evict people by force? ACORN would just help them break back in. Last, the trailers are probably trashed after four and a half years of occupancy by the professional "victims" that won't even try to stand back up without government assistance. If anything, I object to the price tag of $1-5.

They're probably not worth that much by this point.
