WTF!!!

I'm sure my readers have heard about the senseless, horrible murder of Cecil the Lion by a ball-less American dentist* on a canned safari hunt.  I mean, I actively avoid the news and headlines, and I've heard of it.

What I want to know is how many of you had heard of the second video of Planned Parenthood "leaders" negotiating the sale of "tissue"?  Or that Planned Parenthood is so freaked out by an honest representation of their own sheer evil that they've gone to court to acquire a gag order to prevent the release of more videos?

There is something seriously wrong with a good number of the people of this nation.  And even worse wrong with the media.

*Not my opinion.  The opinions of those threatening to kill, stuff, and mount said dentist.  I couldn't care less than I do about somebody with more money than sense paying to have big game brought to them to shoot.

Disgust is the mildest term

I'm sure everyone's heard about the latest kerfuffle with Planned Parenthood.  I'll summarize, but won't link to the story plus video.  I don't want to owe anybody a new keyboard because they vomited on theirs.

In a breathtakingly horrific flouting of U.S. law, they are not only performing partial birth abortions by delivering late term babies breech and murdering them in the process, they're harvesting and selling organs when they think they can get away with it.

And each and every individual in the United States, willing or not, is complicit in this atrocity.  Because Planned Parenthood is supported by our tax dollars.

Never have I ever been so glad that we get more back than we pay in.  Because every dollar heading for the EITC is one that cannot be handed over to the murderers of the most innocent among us.

I am so far beyond angry that I cannot even express it.

Now, that's a good sign.

So.  We're back to this.  Only, this time, it's in Ukraine.

Last time, the Jews were rounded up and shoved into ghettos--where they were easy targets for the local governments to aim angry citizens at, and where it was simple to blast through and hand out beatings, rapes, pillaging, and burning.

And that was just in eastern Europe and Asia.

And it got worse, as it always does.

Worse yet? They don't have an effective means of self-defense, as everyone in the US has access to, legally or not.

And this is what our own government wants us to face.

No, thanks.

Doesn't surprise me.

Just read another story about a newborn baby thrown in the trash by his teenaged mother.  Ho-hum.

Yet...people in the comments were shrieking about the evil of the act, like it's worse to throw away a baby that was still covered in afterbirth than it is to vacuum one out of the womb and kill it.

Honestly, people--what did you expect?  You make life disposable with pro-abortion laws and advocacy,* and assisted-suicide laws, and euthanasia laws, and then you scream about a young girl who's internalized the lessons you didn't realize you were teaching?

Grow a soul, and stop holding the attitude that when someone else's life is inconvenient, it should be ended.  Stop pressuring the world to agree with your morality that it's okay to choose to end someone else's life.  Stop equating the murder of babies with using a condom or taking a birth control pill.

And maybe, just maybe, sixteen year old girls will stop seeing their new infants as disposable trash.

*I do not advocate changing the law to make abortion illegal for a doctor to perform--just illegal to choose as a "contraception" method after the heart starts beating.

Incredible.

If the whole "furlough" of "non-essential" federal employees hasn't been bad enough, there's tons worse: scenic view pull-offs in South Dakota have been blocked off with orange safety cones to prevent people from pulling over to take pictures (not that that would actually stop someone really determined), and people have been evicted from their homes because they're technically vacation homes set up on federal land.

So.  The "chief executive" who is the park department's highest point in the chain of command has shown how petty he is.  Now, let me show y'all a little bit more:

Intimidation tactics on full display.  More here.  Because we all know that those Vietnam vets are just explosions waiting to happen, and if they can just trigger one attack...

More petty, meanness on display here.  We must do what the Spoiled Brat wants!  The shutdown is hurting the children!

How about doing his damnedest to scare the shit out of Grandma by threatening to let her starve and freeze on the streets?

The worst, I think, is here.  This page was the Amber Alerts page.  You know, the page where the alerts issued by states were displayed, permitting people all over the country to potentially recognize a kidnapping victim, and get help.

So.  Petty, mean, and evil.  What more do we need to know about the "leader" of our nation?

Thank God for good cops.

This one is one of the best.  Excellent shot, and excellent work, sir.

(It wouldn't have been a cop that shot the son of a bitch, if it had been my child.  It would have been me.)

Falling down on the job.

It is a mother's job to protect her children.  I take my job seriously--one of the things I do is regularly review the list and photos of our local area's registered sex offenders.  It's not easy (we live very close to an intersection of state lines for four states), but it's worth it to make sure that no one my children have contact with is a predator.

Any mother who doesn't do this is failing in her primary job...and could pay the ultimate price.  Like this woman did.

Do I feel sorry for her?  Hell yes.  But I also want to grab her by the hair and beat her head against the ground for failing her daughter so very, very badly.

(As an aside, I'm also horribly angry with the state--with every state--for releasing these monsters instead of putting them down like the sick animals they are.  Child sex predators cannot be rehabilitated, and will re-offend in 97+% of cases.  Save the children.  Kill them all.)

Oh...lovely.

It's not compassion pushing the euthanasia laws in Europe.  It's the fact that those who are terminally ill suck down a massive dollar amount of the socialist medical services, leaving less money available for those who can be helped.  It's a cold-blooded assessment of return on investment; there is no compassion anywhere but perhaps in the doctors who can't stand to see their patients suffer, and in the family members whose loved ones are suffering with no relief in sight but death.

Now, Belgium had decided that the practice of euthanasia can and should be extended to children.  Individuals who are incapable of informed consent to smoke, drink, and have sex.  Why is it that the government believes that giving informed consent to taking poison is any different?

Is this what we want for our country?  If we follow in Europe's footsteps with permitting the termination of the terminally ill, how long will it be before it's determined that nobody who is terminally ill can knowingly consent because of the medications they're on, and that all terminally ill individuals, whether it's a 90 year old or a 9 month old, must be terminated?

And how long will it be before people are wrongfully diagnosed as terminal, and terminated when they've got years of high-quality life left?

Case in point: when my husband worked as a loan shark payday lender, he had a regular customer for the prepaid visas.  This woman was diagnosed as having less than a year to live with lung cancer (I think).  We saw her, recently, at Sam's Club.  It's been more than five years since that diagnosis.  And, from what I know of her, she's lived--really lived--every day of that extra time.

Euthanasia laws bother me, less because I have a problem with people choosing to end their own lives, and more because of the rationale behind them.  Especially when there's a distinct possibility that the person who will be euthanized either can't choose it for themselves, or are ordered to die to save money in a system of socialized medicine.

I think I'm gonna puke.

I am pro-life.  Not because of any religious reasons, but because I've had two children, one of them born at 32 weeks--which is a fairly normal age for "late term abortion."  My son needed a minimal amount of breathing assistance, and a feeding tube put up his nose into his stomach.  That was it.  He was born pissed off at the world and screaming about it.

Breathing.  On his own.  Alive.  Without being attached to me.

Which makes this nothing short of evil.  I can't even read the whole thing.

How is it that those who clamor that everyone should hand over their guns to avoid another murder of a child cannot see that they, themselves, are perpetrating greater horrors on the completely helpless and innocent?

Murderers, all.

And it's not being reported on.  At all.  Because it's "local crime."

Uh-huh.  Yeah.  So was John Lennon's murder.  So was Marylin Monroe's death (suicide is a crime on the books--there's just no way to punish it, since the perp is already dead).   So was Michael Jackson's child-molestation crimes, and the inquests around his death.  So was Whitney Houston's accidental drowning while high as a fucking kite.  In fact, besides the few assassinations of political figures, I cannot think of any murder case, short of a serial killer that keeps on the move, that isn't a "local crime."

So, why does everything get coverage, except for when it comes to what happens in abortion clinics?
