I had one dog that was half Chow that I could imagine doing that. I had another that was a Pomeranian-based mutt that I could see doing that. My Scotty? Would dig a hole around it and bury it.
I think I found it in '03, or so. The mention of reverberation never fails to have me giggling so hard I can't hold my eyes open to keep reading. Same with the imagery of the dogs trying to drag one of the ribcages in through the window.

Hilarious! I can imagine every single dog I've ever owned doing something like that!

DeleteOh, good old Dogs In Elk. My favorite line: "they scramble to the top and look out, all red"
ReplyDeleteALL RED. That never fails to make me laugh.
I can't remember when I first found that but it had to be around 2000. I can't remember if I just stumbled on it or if it was linked somewhere....
