One of our local fast-food places sent out flyers advertising crinkle-cut sweet  potato fries.

      They're good in sweet/sour stews; fried with apples, bacon, and brown sugar; or deep fried. I don't like 'em very well plain.

      I don't like them plain either---but sweet potato french fries are very good!!
