Considering a new pen...

I have a Parker Vector in red that I've had for ten years.  It still works wonderfully...but the clip on the cap is sprung so badly that I can't repair it.

So, I'm thinking I'm gonna get another of the same type.  This one

If you like fountain pens, it's a nice one, if cheaply made and plastic (basically, what I can afford on my salary).  Mine has lasted me very, very well, and I wouldn't even think of replacing it if the imp hadn't yanked it off of where I had it clipped hard enough to permanently bend the clip out to a thirty degree angle.

  1. Send it to Parker. See wha they will do.

    1. Probably nothing, considering the longest they guarantee anything is three years, and it's a ten-year-old pen.

  2. My dad is a wood turner, with an Etsy site. He makes fountain pens. Want a link?

    1. Yeah--I'll put it in my sidebar so I don't lose it. Probably can't afford anything really nice for a while, but I'd definitely like the link.
