My grandma had a full Siamese cat. That cat, and her offspring, completely wiped out the rodent and small critter population around my grandma's place so thoroughly that they're only now, twenty years later, beginning to become a problem again.
But that was an unfixed mama barn cat. Cricket, my half-Siamese fixed kitty, is not that great of a hunter, she's clumsy, and she's neurotic--which ends up with some weird issues when she actually *does* catch a mouse.
