From my experience with Microsoft (going way back to the DOS days), every other version of Windows sucks massively, but the next version after that is pretty good. So, needless to say, I am dreading whatever comes after Win 10...

I am way too old to learn LINUX, and will NEVER support the proprietary garbage that is Apple!!! So since I am stuck with Windows, I sure hope that it's Win 10 for a long time to come!!!!! Currently, I've found Libre Office's writer a bit more user-friendly, though still less so than actual Word. I use it on my home computer even though I can have MS Office from work. And it is originally a Linux application, so if you do switch, you can load it and go.ASM826https://www.blogger.com/profile/04017388670319590449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7529212130092758272.post-85138457937273778422018-10-27T22:16:12.790-05:002018-10-27T22:16:12.790-05:00I'm going to be looking into Linux. I prefer being able to choose WHEN to update, instead of having Microsoft make that choice without warning me to save and close stuff.

And I really hate it doing that when the restart locked me out of a program I was using.Heroditus Huxleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11049569750742829144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7529212130092758272.post-1439031494638115342018-10-27T22:14:22.152-05:002018-10-27T22:14:22.152-05:00I never got to know Word Perfect.
