He'd ro...He hid in his room to learn to crawl. He'd roll in, shut the door, and experiment. If I checked on him before he'd knocked to come out, he'd scream, scramble over, and slam it in my face. Same with learning to walk. Same with learning to ride a tricycle, only in Grandma and Grandpa's garage. He's tried to teach himself to read--again, hiding in his room. He prefers self-direction, and this is the only reason he can't read or write, yet. He only shows us something once he's mastered it to his satisfaction.<br /><br />It's not rebelling.
